Earlier this month, Toyota was named an official partner of U.S. Ski & Snowboard, uniting the leading automaker with the country's top winter athletes in preparation for the 2018 Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang. Toyota first partnered with the athletic organization when the company stepped in as title sponsor of the U.S. Grand Prix, a premier U.S. Ski & Snowboard event.
Toyota will have a more significant presence at many U.S. Ski & Snowboard events and also support many of the top U.S. Ski & Snowboard athletes on their lead-up to the coming season.
In a press release, Ed Laukes, Group Vice President, Marketing, Toyota, observed, “Toyota’s first year as a partner of U.S. Ski & Snowboard was invaluable to us as a brand making its initial foray into the Olympic movement.Adding the U.S. Ski Team to the mix for this season, especially heading into the Olympic Winter Games in PyeongChang, is very exciting.”
